Default Fringe benefit
Have you ever thought of what a site such as this provides? Not just the opportunity to share experiences or fulfilling a need of spiritual expression but also the wonderful practice of reading and writing. Of growing intellectually as well; opening your mind and heart to the written language. I guess you would call this a fringe benefit. I just do not see it as a benefit on the fringe since this ability affects many areas in life.

If you really think about it, accurately describing a spiritual experience is probably one of the most difficult subjects to write about as we are often attempting to describe something that is beyond any words we know.

How often have you read or written a description similar to “It was me, but it wasn’t me looking at myself” or “it was a grayish misty cloud but more whitish gray and not really a cloud”? See what I mean, no word to describe exactly what it is. Thus, in the attempt to explain something that has no exact word for it, we are forced to expand our vocabulary in the quest to be understood.

Most everything has fringe benefits. I thought that I would bring attention to this one.
