Hi,

I'm a medium. I'm not familiar with Reiki, or the ethics of psychic readings other than mediumistic, but my guides won't allow me to read anyone who hasn't asked for a reading. They say this is because they may have to access the Akashic Records of the person and therefore must have permission. I suppose this is also a safeguard for privacy, as I can't just ask about people for my own curiosity.
