Hey everyone -

My name is Mikaela. I've come to this board because I am on a quest to connect with myself spiritually as I've been on hiatus for a while now: I've been very neglectful and out of touch with myself, my spirit guides, and the people around me. I used to be the kind of precocious child with killer instinct -- I was pretty perceptive and had what I felt was a strong connection with my guides or God; for the last five years, however, I have lived a pretty petty, superficial lifestyle for which I am now paying in dividends. It appears that Karma knows my name and number... tricky tricky.

Anyways, the past is in the past: as for my future, I plan on reclaiming the spirituality that I've *misplaced* and I look forward to getting to know my spirit guides, starting NOW. I'm nervous about the experience; but more so, I am excited. I'm not sure where to even start but I will be surfin' the boards and looking for guidance.
