Is it possible to be a living spirit guide for someone?

I have a strong connection with someone that I don't even actually know. He is described in the story I posted called Saving Chris. Over the last month I have felt him, and exactly how he is feeling. I have been telepathically speaking to him subconsciously.

I still have no idea why we were drawn together, or how. Yet, he feels so familiar, like I have known him my whole life. Please, help me to understand.

I have been guiding him through alot lately, this connection feels so abnormal. Its not like a family tie, a romantic, or even friendly. It feels spiritual.
