There's a part in the Celestine Prophecy about relationships. My interpretations of that is..People like to dominate and take away energy and it always works that way..there's one who seems stronger and the other likes to cling to the energy...and there's always a conflict when both want power over certain things...Then, there's a part where they say..if both were to give energy to each other..that's what we need. So true...

I can be power hungry at times and it's incredibly easy to tell because I start getting a headache or my shoulders start aching..

It would be nice if we all realized that we don't need to give up our powers to give a little power to others. It's not you vs them...you never have to be powerless to give power...it works both ways whether you're trying to empower a situation or allowing a situation to empower you...power sharing will lead to peace..imho.
