I wonder if anybody can help me understand what I saw.

I was lying awake, when from accross the room a bubble of light appeared. It came slowly accross the room
came around the recess to my bed hovering there for a while. Then moved over the bed. When I followed it with my eyes, over my body was a beautiful golden ball which looked solid after watching it for a while I noticed it was spinning very fast, as I was mesmorised by it.

It suddenly veered to the right did a U turn and was
heading directly for my face. I panicked and turned the light on and then it dissapeared.
