tarot cards have always fascinated me, but i haven't thought about them in many years until coming across the ra material and discovering the potential that they have to increase our awareness.

the question i have is, does anyone have an idea of where to start looking for a deck that is most closely related to the egyptian deck that ra talks about?

i've tried some brief skimming over sites but there seems to be an overwhelming amount of information of tarot cards, and from what i understand we are supposed to get the deck and study the meanings ourselves and not just read what others interpretations are so we may best get an initial feel for the meanings in our own minds. that being said, i would like to start with cards that most closely relate back to the beginnings and not end up with a deck that has been altered or 'modernized' (if this happens?)
