i think we as individuals can`t call ourselves a creator. all of us and everything combined together is the creator. also, here in the physical reality what we know of ourselves is just one small aspect of our true multidimensional self at a given time, in a given parallel reality. however, we can learn how to draw power from the source energy which is endless and unlimited, but we really have to know how. the fact that we are here in the slower thought responsive density, means that we are learning certain things and are taking steps as david saids toward spiritual enlightenment. at this point we have to "serve" as much as i don`t like this term, not just to ourselves but to everything and everyone else. the mass consciousness actually dictates and directs our progress and evolution as humans.whatever the predominant intelligence, ideas and believes are, this will be the corresponding state of planet earth. those who have more knowledge should try to help others as we are not on the same level of development. of course we are constantly exposed to many many different believes, but how to recognize the right ones. i personally am not a religious person, because to me god is not an individual or an entity who has a human name. yet many people are convinced otherwise. progress will not occur when religion saids there are no ets and this along creates a mass wave of energy delaying extraterrestrial contact.
to go back to the original topic, serving only ourselves is serving the ego, not the creator. working toward personal development and along the way handing your knowledge and help to others is serving the creator. we always have to think of ourselves as little sources of energy which combined together form the oneness.
