i also heard that the one creator is ourselves, so if i serve myself, wouldn't i be serving the creator (me!)...or is it never really about yourself but other selves? if the creator is experiencing existence through his creations, then you would be right in saying that to serve yourself equals serving the creator. but it is equally right that by serving others, i.e. his creations you will also serve him/her. you will discover as you gravitate evermore towards the source, that you would want to live an existence of service to others. you wouldn't even question it. it is in selfless service to others that will elevate you.
