nice post, i really like to read about the international ongoings as well...i tend to stay clear of the media, so i often appear as an "idiot." i wish well to you and your in australia.
i cant speak for the people running this country, but i do understand of the impact they do aquire for the rest of the world, and i truly and deeply hope that this is the "healer" we have been waiting for. to me so much of it lays not on the sole responsibility of our "leader" but the motivation that the "leader" can share with us in order to understand that it is going to take all of us to create great change. he cant do it alone, and one thing that i respect and love about obama, is his creative way of expressing that he does want change, but he also makes each and every person (especially those whom support and value his opion) to work hard, to remain positive, to bring change, to create hope, and to actually do somtehing, rather then wait for the leader to take it all on and change it for us....we should have learned that if we expect someone else to do the changing, that we end in results that are unsatisfactory for our desires.
what i think is one of the gratest attibutes to obama "leadership" is his amazing ability to motivate...motivation is what will bring on the steps in order to lead this world into a more compassionate and "one" guided world....
the change in the human spirit is happening, i can sence it each day in the people that i meet, it's not everyone right now, but it's happening, and it's a beautiful and hopeful thing to experience, this number will grow as the motivation takes over the land, or so i feel.
blessed be, with love and light to you,
