lynette - thank you for sharing this experience with us. you and pamela will be in my prayers.

my dad died when he was 52 of his third heart attack - i was at home when the phone call came telling us that he had died and the hospital staff had done all they could. mum was with him. in the time i took to get to the hospital, about forty-five minutes, he had come back to life, although his heart had stopped and all the life support systems had been unplugged - the nurses were astonished. dad was conscious when i got there, and i'll never forget two things. first, there was depth in his eyes and a confidence that i'd never seen as long as i'd known him. second, not long after i arrived, while we spoke, he looked across at the clock and "oh, it's ok, i've got a little time left." he died very shortly afterwards, but i know that he had been allowed to return for just long enough to say his goodbyes - and also to give me the most precious gift i've received - by the way he looked at me, unlike any look he'd ever given me, he made me understand that i still had a long way to go, but that it was worth it.

i also talked to him in my heart for years, particularly when i became a father, and have no doubt whatsoever that the communication was real. your mother is telling you some very important things, and the love she gives you is proof of this. she's talking to you, and what she says is for you, but i believe you're right to share it, because this concerns us all.

love
