the idea behind the pyramids was to face ones fears at which point if the person didn't die from shock a heart attack or some thing the person would become enlightened.
he did omit one little point though and that is it becomes increasingly hard to know if you are actually dead.. i mean every thing seems real enough but every thing you think you are suddenly becomes some one else's thoughts or intellectual property
