funny, the first line of a story i was working on is this: "the original wound is our separation from god, they say, and everything we do to bring ourselves pleasure is an attempt to fill up that hole."

pleasure is fleeting, but in those moments we remember deep down that this is how it's supposed to be, immersed in ever-new joy. in a state of bliss, there is full acceptance and recognition of perfection. there is only saying "yes," as to say "no" would be a denial of worthiness/perfection.

our wound comes from our denial of ourselves as creator/god/all. every fear we experience arises from our forgetting, our uncertainty, our ignorance of the grandness of our true beings.

practically all of us experience the wound as a lacking in our lives, yet we continue to give ourselves what we most desire because we don't remember/recognize there is nothing we are not.
