i also had a vision as a child, i'm quite sure it was not a dream. the whole scene is still very fresh in my mind.

i was 7, and one night as i went to bed i had this strange sensation and just couldn't fall asleep.

so as i layed in bed facing the ceiling, from the top left corner of the room suddenly shows up "zooming in" straight onto the carpet next to my bed, this whole "scene" like a circus arena. in the middle there was a tall (about 2.2 - 2.5 meters high) human-like being dressed in a black robe, couldn't see his/her face at all - there was just darkness where the face was supposed to be. i'll call the being as "her" from now on, because i felt it more like a feminin presence, although impressively wise and emotionless.

there was absolutely nothing "wrong" or menacing with this picture, although i was overwhelmed with a mixture of fear and respect never felt before.

around her there was this arena filled with little people, colourfully dressed and very noisy, talking loudly all at the same time.

the tall being raised her arm as in sign that she was going to say something, and the little ones got suddenly quiet. she then "presented" to the public a symbol of a half-moon in her left hand, made of yellow paper it seemed, and said she was going to throw it under my bed. and so she did, and the tiny moon rotated in slow motion right under the bed.
it was strange because it felt like she was talking to the others and somehow ignoring me.

then with her other hand she presented a symbol of a sun, made of the same material, and said she would throw it "there" (pointing towards me). i then tried to react and say "no, i'm not worthy of that" (don't ask me why) only to realise i was paralised and unable to speak. but the yellow paper sun sure made his way rotating in slow motion towards my chest.
i remember thinking "this can't be happening" and feeling almost amused by the situation at this point. it had a "cartoonish" feeling despite the fear i was feeling.
but when the little sun penetrated my sternum it felt like an enormous amount of energy exploded inside me, spreading inside like millions of tiny energy sparks.

immediatly after that the whole "show" just disappeared in a "zoom-out" effect that i later discovered to be just like the way holograms in star wars movies appear and fade-out.

maybe this sounds wacko, lots of people already laughed in my face when hearing it, i'm just hoping maybe some of you have had similar experiences or perhaps are familiar with symbols and the "message" that "they" were obviously trying to give.

oh, this happened in '83 or '84.
