to clarify, are you stating that you believe that everything you
experience external to yourself is generated from within your being?

if that is the case, how do explain shared experiences and other
situations where multitudes of people experience(with the 5 senses) roughly the same thing?

is it possible that we are experiencing things external to our being but
we all have a choice on how to react and/or how to view things?

also, could seth have been referring to discarnate existence rather
than incarnate existence?
hi fiish,

just wanted to let you know where that quote came from because i neglected to include it in the last post...oops http://www.globalpsychics.com/servin...s-events.shtml

on that page it provides an answer to your first question,
"in the nature of personal reality, seth explains the dynamics of energy, and how each event in our lives is created by us - and with purpose. in the individual and the nature of mass events, seth takes this discussion a step further by defining how as individuals, we co-create our universe and actively participate in creating life-changing mass events - for a multitude of purposes. this book explains how our individual thoughts and feelings contribute to mass events such as floods and earthquakes, plagues and pestilences - and the lives and deaths of our public icons like princess diana and mother theresa."

in the case of "acts of god" he says that there will be an underlying feeling of say suffering, enslavement from many, many individuals that all co-create a hurricane, flood, tornado etc.

in the case of two or more individuals just having an encounter between or among themselves, essentially we create each event to learn a lesson and others happen to be learning a different lesson from the same experience. that's why people remember things so differently. i think this can be verified by police investigators when they try to unravel what happened at the scene of a crime. but even more than that, we all agree to some extent on how we create the world around us. the book the nature of personality explains this in more detail.

also, we cannot know for sure how others sense the world around them because we only have our own little piece of the universe from which to view.

in terms of choice, we all have free will. the point seth makes is that we constantly have opportunities to grow and we are all in this realm of experience for a reason. we can choose to keep running up against the same wall over and over again or we can learn what we need to from an experience and hopefully move on.

regarding incarnate and discarnate existence. this is where it gets complicated. seth says that we have an oversoul who looks in on us and sometimes even tries to help direct us along the right path. the oversoul is really a more evolved version of ourselves that exists in a higher realm. so both incarnate and discarnate in a sense. also, an oversoul can have several entities who are living at the same "time" and you can even run into one (or more) of your oversoul entities in your lifetime here.

and you also have a soul group that you are affiliated with to perform the same type of function. so you are naturally attracted to these individuals over lifetimes. i couldn't find a good reference right now but to the best of my recollection there are about seven or eight major groups with a variety of functions. a few of the functions off the top of my head were teachers, caregivers, and revolutionaries.

i hope this answers your questions to some extent. you can go a lot deeper by reading the books. http://www.newworldview.com/library/...k_listing.html i'm just now working my way through "the early sessions" but i've read all the books that were written during jane roberts lifetime.

best,
stacy
