i think there's a sense in which this is a good take on the "purpose" of creation (by no means the final word on it, but it sums up a lot of normally divergent spiritual trends). so individuality is an experience the creator is going through in an almost infinite number of ways (throughout the densities and subdensities) and our individuated selves are all just particular focused points of fleeting attention in am ultimately and simultaneously unified creation. i, individually, am having the experience as a subset of the creation to maximally realize my uniqueness.

i've often thought that it's a strange creation where the truly useful experiences arise from pretending that you are less than you actually are; in other words, the creator is experiencing what it is like to "not be god", and it is through that experience that it gains what it cannot at complete, omnipotent unity. with a reality of complete, blissful unity, what alternative experiences are there but illusions of being less than that?

this perspective also leads the interesting insight that a lot of the value of what we're going through here in third density will be realized after we leave it, not right now. as ra says, it is important for us to realize that no understanding is possible in this density - not so much to make us humble as to allow us to accept that it's ok that this crazy world doesn't make sense! it's not our job to figure it out (though we will doubtlessly continue to try, and to build simplified, incomplete models to satisfy our need to integrate a creation that is far bigger than we can conceive with 3d minds). hopefully, by realizing that our individuated experience is more of a utility function than an identity function, we can let go and appreciate the creation without feeling the need to strive to "do" anything in particular.

these things are difficult to put into words. thanks for your thoughts, amelie.
