it's almost like they are materialist shamans. their job is to use drugs and story telling to bring a lost soul back into the materialist fold.

i think their intention is in most cases good, they just work from a point of view that is limited for some people.

you'd feel the same way about a shaman who insisted your sour tooth was because of your bad behavior.
