there really aren't too many careers for people with a degree in metaphysics, in terms of the classic "go to school, get a degree, and make a career for yourself" meme. then again, there don't seem to be too many careers waiting for people with degrees of any kind lately. higher education is somewhat of a scam (and yes i have enough letters after my name and student loan bills to qualify me to make that statement

a degree in metaphysics probably would work best as an adjunct to another degree. you can, of course, take any kind of degree and become a professor of said degree. it may also serve you in making a career out of writing on metaphysical topics (books, music, movies), public speaking and seminars, and spiritual counseling.

in all honesty, if you really want to make a career out of metaphysics, i would suggest getting a solid education in business and entrepreneurship, and studying metaphysics on the side.
