i would say that things are both more complicated and simpler than they might seem.

complicated in that there is no way that you can tell what is 'right' and 'wrong' for everyone so you can't see the big picture and simpler in that things are less random than you might think.

david wilcock has explained that we're not just randomly created beings who win or lose based on some arbitrary system of morality but rather we're free to explore with our free will within a pre-arranged set of parameters.

perhaps this visualization exercise might help clarify the point.
if everything went the way you wanted it to what would you be doing tomorrow and the months and years following? imagine the most extreme parameters, winning the lottery, marrying the girl of your dreams etc but keep it within the realm of possibility.

know yourself, if you don't like to speak in public then being president/dictator etc is probably not an option for you no matter what happens as life isn't like that movie king ralph where some regular joe has royalty thrust upon him.

know yourself, if you like to draw then it is definitely possible that you could become a famous artist or at least a successful one, you could be the most famous artist ever! it's possible, not probable, but possible.
