well, it's important to understand that the only separation between us and god, inside and out is an illusion. this illusion allows us to learn lessons, to feel the separation from god so we continue striving to meet him.. even though eventually that search has to turn inward.

in jesus's case, he's been lifted to a place higher than he might have liked. even when i was still practicing christianity, i understood that the main point of that was to get closer to god. i had to take the step of actualy cutting jesus out of the picture, and seeing that i don't need a 'savior' to unite me with the infinite creator. most of the bible has the strange contradiction. "you are saved by the blood of christ, a saint unblemished in the eyes of god. but don't sin, don't think bad thoughts, don't do bad things cause you know how much god hates sinners." some of it i think was meant to control people, to allow for the felling of shame so that they would be easy to control. "if you want gods favor, do this.. " having been full of shame, people are easier to control. if you think of yourself as less than prefect, your going to gravitate towards those who you perceive as having a greater amount of the perfection your think your missing. don't get caught in that trap!

you are god.. or all that is, you are a part of it. a holographic part, having in you all aspects of all that is. you are perfect just the way you are. step into your peace. "my peace i leave with you." jesus said, he was trying to be a template for us to follow, to find the greater connection to our own higher self and find that peace, love, tolerance, understanding, wisdom, compassion, the list goes on and on.
