of course not. jesus never said for people to do that.

it is his teachings that are important, that and his example as a perfected human being.

known as the great teacher, he took complex ideas and made them simple enough for the common man to understand.

so much "garbage" has been said and done in his "name", it's no wonder that so many people are completely turned off at the mere mention of him.

i have been dealing with this topic with many people for years now. happily, after explaining the whole mess and what he taught, most folks understand.

thank you jesus (and all the other messengers) for your service to mankind!!!!
