Spiritual Groups
hello everyone,
i am in/out of this forum, in/out of other forums, reading this and that,
basically trying to find 'the best' source of information regarding 'this material'.
currently i am 51% certain that i should concentrate my efforts on the work of dw.
david is most probably in the genius realm, his writings are well thought out and easy to read,
and in my mind he passes 'the jesus test', which to me only means, his teachings do conflict with the teachings of jesus
i do not say that in any religious context, just merely that any subsequent teacher should be consistent with 'the greatest teacher'.
however, i still can not totally embrace this new found (to me) material as absolute truth; as i try to guided by the words of buddha:
"believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if i have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense".
but, reason and common sense, are tricky, as is the mind.
today i may be convinced of something, then tomorrow, doubts or alternatives may arise.
i currently am enveloped by a cloud of confusion, but yet, i do not attach any emotion to the confusion.
it is merely my current state, if i can keep moving, eventually i will emerge from the fog.
although this text drifted from where i had initially planned, i had a question about another 'group' that intrigues me.
is anyone here familiar with the web group under the name of:[please e-mail for url]
most of their beliefs center around the channeling by some young woman through the use of hundreds of youtube videos,
they insist on 'self-honesty', and almost seem like a cult, but i can't determine if it comes from positive or negative energies.
i realize there may be hundreds of various internet spiritual groups out there,
some good, some not so good, and some which may actually be dangerous to the mind,
but when you are dealing with subject matter that can not necessarily be 'proven'
it can be difficult to separate the 'wheat from the chaff'.
peace and love to all
[please note: channeled material other than that listed as recommended reading by david wilcock is considered off-topic for these forums -moderator]
