it makes perfect sense to me on what you're asking. i have to say, at one time i thought the same thing and then realized there is no past or future, only the present moment... which is the only time and place i exist in. which then means i've always existed in this moment no matter what i think. and now that i know this, thoughts & feelings seem to flow to both my lower and higher self to ask for guidence and help in all my experiences at all times no matter what i am conscious of at the moment. i not good at explaining things but i tried...
