hi mac,

i don't want to comment on the bulk of your post, as i don't feel i am "qualified" to say what these experiences were or what they might mean for you.

however, i will give my limited perspective on your question about "regressing". there was a period of my life in the early 90's in which for 365 concecutive days i did in fact meditate. for some time afer that meditation was a regularly occuring experience, but not every day. i too and i would daresay everyone else consciously awakening to their true nature, that is their spiritual reality, have had some things happen that definitely don't make sense rationally, but yep they certainly do happen.

in years following, meditation became a thing i thought about, but didn't actually do. in recent years i have included meditation as a daily activity and find i really really miss it if i do happen to skip a day. well, after i got more focused on my spiritual evolution, i did feel guilty for not having kept at it.

but i believe during those times i was still learning and what i had to finally do was simply accept myself and forgive myself. i asked myself basically "well, if you really believe this spiritual stuff, miracles, higher consciousness, etc., then how could you have done something wrong?" i found i had only delayed a bit. so, what i'm getting to is this: i don't personally believe one "regresses" if one does not meditate everyday. anything positive gained is "kept" and multiplied. nothing is lost. i do humbly suggest anyone inclined to meditate do so as he/she feels moved. for me, yes, every day, sometimes two, three, four times a day. and i might add that meditation length to me is not vital to progressing/learning. doing it is.

i'm a bit reluctant to say this, mac, and i certainly hope this doesn't come across as judgmental or trying to control and manipulate you, but i personally am not inclined to meditate in order to have any particular type of experience. if it so happens to be a "wow!"-type thing, then cool; if it's simply a time to forget about time and just be, then that's cool too for me. i trust i am being guided by my higher self as well as a multitude of positive entities who are transcendent of time. whatever i need will happen.

again, i'm not trying to tell you how to live your life, but i believe you'll learn faster if you let your higher self be the director. just my perspective (and trust me it ain't that high or wide! ).

oh, and i totally agree with your last statement, so let me echo it here so that it resonates far and wide: have fun!

peace,
doug
