i think it was shirley maclaine (i am not sure who it was exactly but it was a movie star) who had a public reading done by a psychic and oddly enough the first entity to come through to visit her was her pet dog that she had had for years and died.

so it is my opinion that no matter what decision you make your pet cat will be with you and will be waiting for you when you cross over too.

my sympathies are with you. i know it is like a family member.
