Default Old Testement and Holy Holidays
hello to all,

now, before i get started on sharing what i have been led to study this past week, i want to say that i am not one to push any book or belief on anyone. i am posting this for those who do share an interest in the bible and what wisdom we might find in the scriptures. i also want to say that i study many scriptures of many tribes of people. i am not of any religion, i am simply a being of faith.

i have always struggled with the old testament. i always found it hard to accept a god that killed many by the thousands. so i grew up mostly ignoring the old testament, not giving it a second glance. for the past couple of months, i have received somewhat of a download of info that would spark an interests in my inner self. i seem to get detailed stuff more around the time between the moons cycle of full moon and new moon. i myself thought this was crazy, so im kinda putting it to the test so to say.

so again, this month, for the last week, i was led to some info that i never would of thought about being important. the reason i wouldnt of ever thought about its importance was because to find the answers to the questions in my mind i had to study the old testament. it was monday morning of this past week, i woke up and was led to find the importance of the holy holidays. this has been no easy task, in fact, i am still studying the holy holidays. bottom line from what i feel is that the holy holidays show us a time line. i dont want to put numbers in here yet, for i am still trying to grasp the understanding. my dreams have all been focused around this. all week i kept dreaming that i am discussing this subject with men who seem to be priests. we talk alot about the importance of garments, the moon, and harvests.

i dont know if this is going to go anywhere, but i feel the desire to share what my thoughts are pondering on. i find the moon is very important when understanding the meaning of a true calendar, and that a true calendar can not be for casted. a true calendar must be observed. the holy holidays focus around harvests and blessings and cycles of the harvests. could we be like the barley and the wheat and the fruits. are we on a cycle and will our cycle resemble the cycles of the harvests in the holy holidays? could this be what was truly important in the old testament? will the holy holidays foreshadow our future? i find it very important of the time between these holidays. as i study this subject, i feel the need to find why there is not 50 days between the holidays ever year. in 2012, there will be 50 days in between these holidays, just as the lord said there should be.

was jesus 'first' of the firstfruits? in the old testament, the israelites were instructed to bring the first barley harvested and present it to the lord. was jesus the first barley harvested to be presented to the lord? this is not something that i found answers to in one day. this is something that takes time to study. these are the questions going through my mind-the holy holidays, the time of jesus, and our cycle of growing into a first fruit. i dont feel that the old testament was saying that we had to follow these holidays. i feel it was a sign to those who wanted insight on the whys and hows of the cycle of the harvests of gods true fruits. there are alot of numbers involved in this study, and i still might not ever fully get what i am supposed to understand. so i am putting it out there, if any one wants to dwell in the confusion with me, cheers to you i debated all week about posting this, for it was 6 days ago when the thought bombarded me with relentless ideas. i wanted to seek it myself first, before i posted something i really didnt understand. for whatever reason, i feel it is very important to study the holy holidays and that there is a for shadow of a time line within the information.

peace to all,
lynette
