what a strong little seed. that is indeed unusual for a citrus seed to sprout in a cold refrigerator. i guess it is all about how much that seed wanted it.

life exists everywhere on this planet. in the most extreme conditions. on the bottom of an underwater canyon, 20 leagues under the sea. and in extreme temperatures. like boiling hot water next to an underwater volcano.

but the miracle about your mandarin is that it is not accustomed to cold temperatures but it still wanted to live. i wish i had half the fight that that little seed does.

maybe i do.
