it is an hour and a half ferrie ride to the island from here. victoria is awesome! soooooo beautiful, nice down to earth people. i am in a more isolated area. if you google "savory island" we are close to there, it is like club med, meets waynes world, sort of a never ending camping trip with no camp councellors. (very fun). we basically have the mildest weather in canada etc.....if you have a chance to come here ever, most people never really leave....they keep comming back until they find a way to stay permanently.
