i have to admit, i've never really been one for animals, any animal, (something i've been working on). so when i entered this particular thread, i didn't even click on the first video link.

however, when i got down to nem338nem's link i read no further and clicked on the video and watched it.

i was shocked to find that it brought tears to my eyes!! thinking this was odd, i re-entered this thread to continue reading and then discovered that this same video bought tears to other peoples eyes as well!

i think i can happily say that i'm starting to realise (deep down inside) that animals are not just pets, or not just creatures to look at in the zoo - these have been my feelings up to this point (even though i have had many pets since childhood), and i've always wanted to change the way i feel but have never been able to.

thank you for such an eye and heart opening thread.
