vote, what does this truly mean anymore? does the vote come from our heart or our minds?

webster: a decision or choice between; the expression of such a decision or
expressed; the right to exercise such a decision; to declare by general opinion

expression: to make known; that conveys meaning or feelings; a symbol or set of symbols expressing some algebraic fact

is a vote, our voice, our expression, feeling for a candidate's opinion/plan, our vote? are we voting to elect the best candidate to guide us on a path that is just and right for the cause and humanity or do we assume they will handle all our needs once the votes have been counted.

it is like we have a minimun number of candiates, limited information trailered to what we want to hear, rather than what needs to be told and heard. the truth is not always known or told, we only hope our heart hears and feels the full truth to make a choice.

what do you think a vote means?
