for me, voting means what it means. the problem, as you stated, is that we are very limited on the canidates we can vote on. and most will tell the people what they want to hear so they can get in office. but, then again, the poeple eat up and buy the lies. its like voting for the "lesser of 2 evils". i do not vote for "evil", so i dont vote. now, as many may now know, presidents are selected, and not by our votes. whatever "elites" want a certain president in office is the one that will win, no matter what the people vote. looked what happened when bush ran for office this last time. = \ anyway, that what i think/feel
