the reward is eternal separation of those who do not believe what we do.

i agree the bible works on many levels and i wouldn't recommend burning it.

but the god jesus taught about is not the jehovah of the old testament.

imagine that. eternal failure of the cosmos because someone doesn't 'believe' what they ought to.

i can no longer fathom how anyone can accept such stuff.
