what about the soul's free will? what if just doesn't want to exist and doesn't care much of life?
can't a a soul choose not to exist or atleast forget it's idenity (to rediscover it or make a new one) if it were to become miserable in extreme boredom? they'd probably be especially bored if they enjoyed degrading life or being entertained by it. i've met people online that have questioned if eternal life will bore people into wanting to just cease to exist....what can i tell them?
to choose to forget our idenity is what we all done when we decided to exist in all our lives here on earth. we chose to forget who and what we really our in each incarnation we've had. but in time, we eventually remember what we chose to forget.

as for boredom or being miserable, it's all a state of mind. once you realize there's no such thing, misery or boredome cease to exist (in your mind that is)
