i think the more "enlightened" we become the more we long to join with the creator and stay there. but of course we all have much journeying to do before that happens, and of course there are many worlds where we can incarnate to explore. so if we are not ready to join with the creator for all eternity, we will be out exploring somewhere until we are. just my thoughts on the matter.

i can't accept that our ultimate goal is to become mere non-individuals.
all this work on our souls to just become a healthy cell with no autonomous thinking?
members of a group don't gravitate towards creativity and discovery they tend towards perpetuation and comfort.
i can't believe that life, even soul-life, becomes stagnant.
