so when you make all these arbitrary divisions in consciousness, ego, personality, subconscious, unconscious, higher self, spirit, soul, etc., it makes it easier to discuss a certain part of it, but ultimately all this division also causes confusion. and everybody's unique idea of
'the way things are'
is needed to fully explore all the possibilities of the all-that-is. in other words, if you and i had all the same ideas and beliefs, there would really be no point in both of us being here.
>>>>> ha, good one. that was like how a melody unfolds. after a bit, it takes on a form or pre-extant direction of it's own.
anyway, to me this shows how we are playing someone else's game. as in, did "i" myself choose to incarnate? or am i just a lump of consciousness that - by nature alone - budded off from the sea>human collective pool?
besides "free will", everything (else) could simply be nature's programs.
probably no coincidence how mystery schools employed "sacred" geometry in their teachings concerning spiritual growth. meaning, it may be more than metaphor.
ok, now that i've thoroughly confused both you and myself, let me tell you how i see it. i don't see the ego ever making it out of 3d reality. i think it's a specialized 'tool' that's a combination of bodily consciousness, and left-brain/logical type thinking skills. because frankly i don't see us needing our math skills after we check out.
>>>> i wonder how far a healthy man's ego is from what nature intended? i wonder how long it's really been around and where?
guess we'd agree that it might be a construct or hierarchical stage of the mind complex - which was inherent in nature's evolutionary program.
thinking on works like forbidden archeology not to mention off world humanoids, how do their ego's compare with today's earther's? and yadda...
there's a m. tsarion (who's getting a lot of flak which (juuust might be deserved) who says that it was the trauma of cataclysms which brought the ego online. gee, a kind of a petrification...
