hi, emily

i don't want to sound like a wet blanket but our job here in 3d rarely includes chasing after such ephemereal stuff as levitation and other psychic eyeball candy.

i'm reminded of a story of a young accolyte who became enthralled with magical powers and went off on his own, he ended up spending years and years studying the magik needed to enable him to walk on water. he finally met with phenomenal success. the now middle-aged man -- his head filled with his accomplishment -- went to show off his powers to his old teacher. he strode across the waters of the ganges and confronted the aging sage who had had been contemplating his amazing progress from the sandy shore.

the former student swelled up his chest and proudly exclaimed, "see, teacher, what a marvel i have accomplished as the culmination prize of years of dedicated effort!"

but the old man wasn't impressed at all; in fact he said to the water-walker -- using a rather fatherly manner -- "my dear son, you poor thing, all that tedious work. oh my!.. but, but why? didn't you know that for a mere rupee you can simply hire a boat to take you across the river?"

all this magik stuff is transient. it is a dangerous distraction from our real job of living positive polarity... which is in comparison quite mundane, but generates lasting results. personal powers reeks of the negative path.

when we arrive in time/space such marvels of mind come naturally. after playing around with such it becomes meaningless ...and thus dreadfully boring.

and yes, "spirits" from the astral planes can levitate objects during a seance. there is a wealth of suggestive documentation from years back to the present. much of this type of seance work is merely to prove the state of personal existence after death. personally, i've come to the point where i don't question the fact one bit, so levitations and such don't generate much excitement anymore.

one problem with trying to absolutely validate psychic phenomena is that creating an absolute proof of such a demonstration violates the law of confusion.... i.e., one being confronted and convinced against his/her will. such things have to remain foggy, whereas one can reject it and go his/her way.

sorry. the above is rather cumbersome... but i've run out of time. and i promised to convert some wine into water.

my best to all...bbb

don't know if this remarkable account is genuine or not, but seems to be. i do feel that levitation is definitely possible. as a child i would have recurring dreams, which were vivid that i could levitate just by using my mind to "will" myself to.

has anybody else experienced such dreams?

please feel free to add anything you may know about the subject of levitation.

i read a great book over the weekend by a brilliant uk psychic. there is a chapter in which he mentions a medium many people saw levitate, chair and all, due to spirits who he knew from a previous life who sometimes felt like teasing.
i don't believe that spirits in general cause levitation though.

anyway, here is a levitation performed by an african shaman:
