so "evil" can never be overcome no matter how hard we try?

by trying to overcome evil do we only create a friction which stimulates the "other side" to act accordingly.........an equal and opposite reaction?

i feel confused now about things.
my quest for truth and spiritual truth leaves me feeling completely drained from time to time.
today i have been feeling rather tired, even though i have no physical reason to be.

my apologies for so intruding on your postings. i sense that i do make things worse for you by adding even more confusing viewpoints.

about overcoming evil: what did jesus offer? i believe the point he made was this: "resist not evil" (of course that is just his opinion. )

from what i've gathered from llresearch the 4th density encounters between negative and positive are much like that illustration i gave in an earlier post,i.e., about a confrontation between ferocious porcupines and loving tar babies. the (say orions) want a fight! they feed their need for negative polarity on this kind of stuff. the positives bombard them with overwhelming love..."here, take everything...here’s my shirt, take my (whatever) go ahead, step all over me, etc. ...the orions are drained of energy and retreat in confusion... trampling the loving positives on the way out. that is a simplification, but the point is that it is a no-win, no-gain situation for both sides...

your desire for an end of pain and agony on this 3d world is somewhat misplaced... so to speak you are looking through the wrong end of the telescope. the harmony you so desire is what the fourth density is all about. in fact, it is so over-abundant in loving others and unselfish sacrifice that eventually it has to be modulated down to practicality via a sojourn through the fifth density.

the observation about jesus is that coming from the high fourth he was filled with so much love that a sacrificial martyrdom was a logical conclusion to his ministry. his death occurred because it lacked the wisdom of the fifth. (of course the dramatic story of his sacrifice probably outweighed a hypothetical long life as a mere teacher, and was critical to the firing-up of the imagination of countless generations)

regarding your self. for what it is worth i think that you are a wanderer from a higher positive density and are here on mission. in general you came to this planetary situation in accordance with your plan/contract of assuming a very tender heart, a heart designed specifically to magnify and increase a reaction from your higher sensitivities.

so, what are you trying to accomplish? on the surface it might seem that it is to become an agent in helping to spread your feeling of outrage concerning the mistreatment of helpless animals and (to a bit of a lesser extent) human victims.

but the agenda hiding behind the obvious agenda might be a bit different. you could be here to magnify even more your own current high degree of positive polarity through experiencing voluminous love and concern for others. or, horrors, you could have been an agent of hurt yourself! a more pleasant scenario is that perhaps you found revealed in a higher density the fact that you were weak in love and sympathy, which cried out for more experience, experience best gained in the powerful turmoil of a 3d setting rather than in a wimpy time/space. (trying to gain “strength” in a higher density is like going to a gym and being given balloons to hoist rather than weighty barbells)

whatever the exact details might be, you are most obviously here to experience this density.

concerning the powerful scene in "powder" where the little deer was shot: it turns out that even such a negative encounter has its positive rewards. the deer, having been singled out by the act of attracting the attention of a higher species (tho the hunter guy seemed sub-human!) will gain even in the face of its unpleasant death. the point is that the 2d deer is a product of an animal group soul. this seemingly brutal encounter generates a spark of "life" transferred to the deer which puts it on the road to individualization ...meaning that its consciousness separates from the group soul ...and puts our little deer well on the way to being incarnated as a 3rd.... the same thing applies to beloved human pets ... who may well become our beloved charges when they reach the point that we are struggling through now. so, the hunter’s act could be classified according to its final outcome as an act of "love". !!! (as i said in other post, the term, love has some semantic difficulties)
