yes, this has been a very enlightening discussion to read and ponder upon. while i cannot claim to understand the balance, the replies here have helped to both broaden and refocus my perspectives on "evil", or more appropriately, "the dark" (absence of light/love).

i really like what everyone has written here, especially the post from onething. the predatory aspect helps serve deeper understanding, and since love is fundamental to both polarities, helps me also understand how the two paths join at higher densities. i try not to overly concern myself with understanding beyond my current capabilities (3d), for if my reality is defined by me, any limits put on higher densities by current 3d understanding only serves to limit me. i think back to the concept of infinity when pondering this... oh so difficult to express in words...
