low fat milk! if you do this much research, then why not consider learning about raw milk? it is much cleaner and healthier, and by definition the cows are raised in pasture. someone in our local independent newspaper did an astonishing paper on the milk industry. did you know an american milk cow lives to only 4 years? a cow! they have only one or at most two offspring and they collapse.

can such milk really be healthy? human beings require fat. lack of healthy fat may be the biggest nutritional deficit in this country. the milk fat contains anticarcinogens and precious vitamin a. without the milk fat it is difficult to absorb the calcium. pasteurized low fat milk is a drag on the body.

it's better not to buy milk products from confined and badly fed cows. the way i deal with this whole issue is to make sure that the animal does not suffer a bad life before being killed, or in the process of being milked.

farm raised fish are often incorrectly fed, kept on antibiotics, crowded, and contribute to disease when they escape into healthy wild populations. when i went to the aquarium in atlanta they gave a speech asking people not to eat farm raised fish.

just as the nutritional quality of factory farmed eggs and beef is ruined by modern techniques, so will fish be. the fat of grass fed beef is high in omega 3, as are natural eggs. the crisis of lack of omega 3 in our diets isn't really a flax oil deficit - it is caused by modern farming techniques.

i apologize in advance for my opinionated tone.
