the advantage of being a pessimist is that you're either 1) right or 2) pleasantly surprised. :d

last year i got pretty wrapped up in 07-07-07 - i was receiving "signs". then it was fire the grid, 07-17-07. then something in november (the 20th?). anyway, point is, i was expecting things to happen that "didn't", and when they didn't, i would feel both disappointment and a little "silly" - i knew better... i would assume the same for tomorrow, hence the pessimistic point of view... the eclipse should be beautiful nonetheless, something i'm looking forward to experiencing!

in the end, each and every day is significant and powerful; a chance for infinite possibilities to experience oneness; radiate love; create peace...

i agree that in this year of 2008 there will be some turning points, but the major changes have already been put into motion, in my opinion. what we are experiencing now is the "ramping up" of energies from both polarities here on 3d earth and the massive influx of energy from the galaxy as we approach and cross that pivotal moment in space-time circa 2012.

i hope this in received as intended - i'm not trying to burst your bubble or sound like a know-it-all, but rather offer another perspective gained from experience. and, who knows, if enough souls around the world do accept responsibility for creating reality, then i think it is possible to achieve critical mass (in terms of raising consciousness), that something would indeed happen. unfortunately, i do not think we're ready yet for that...

the members here on this forum still have much growing and learning to do, as do all the "awakened", before we start creating these changes. in the end, when we (collective group consciousness) are ready, i do think we can step up to the plate, meet the challenges, and far exceed any expectations. patience...
