there are two things swimming around in my brain tonight giving me a bit of trouble:

firstly, there appear to be many negative connotations attached to anything considered "new age". my burning question is: what exactly is new age and how does it compare to this "science mixed with spirituality" path that resonates with most of us here on this forum? what's the difference?

and second, i came across a web site tonight that i was not looking for. my father sent me an email and shared with me that someone said to him this evening at dinner, "watch out for the watchers in your walk". this was a couple my stepmother had invited over and those were the gentleman's exact words. weird thing for someone to say, right? i've heard of watchers before but i decided to google that word and see what came up. well obviously we're talking about aliens, reptilians, greys, demons, nephilim, whatever you want to call them. they are just plain evil. anyway, googling this word brought me to a very indepth web site describing the plot for an alien takeover of america that's already in the works, among many other things that are obviously happening in a negative vein on our planet; stuff that we don't like to think about but obviously cannot be denied. i've been exposed to much of this info already just by watching the project camelot interviews so no surprise...

i am a believer in that what we focus upon we attract into our lives so i do not dwell on the negative side but after reading what i just read i just can't shake the fact that we might have to deal with some pretty bad stuff here before it gets better. and i've heard this said before, so it's not my original thought...
just as amelie has shared... i too feel tired and just want to escape. information overload, you know? all of us realize that secrets have been kept from us and that evil is real and not an illusion so how do we deal with it all? how do we know for sure what the truth is?

and i still would like to know the definition of new age.
