i guess if you are asking around about what the meaning of new age is, than you aren't old enough to have been around when it first started. it has to do with the astrological progression of moving from the age of pisces to the "new age" of aquarius. the age of pisces is symbolized by the fish - which is a symbol used in christianity. the new age has become associated with the belief in reincarnation, karma and all the things that seem to follow with it. the new age is about ascension into a higher level of consciousness so we aren't too far off by saying that all of us here are "new agers". the trouble is that a lot of people don't really know what it means and think of as the extension of the age of hippies.
