part one: phantasms alien to our experience.
"to-morrow, and to-morrow, and to-morrow,
creeps in this petty place from day to day,
to the last syllable of recorded time;
and all our yesterdays have lighted fools
the way to dusty death. out, out, brief candle!
life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player,
and then is heard no more: it is a tale
told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
signifying nothing."

(shakespeare v. 2. 19-28).

the encyclopedic catalog of the commonplace can be said to be hiding in plain sight inasmuch as there are many pages of this proverbial reference book, we need not consult inasmuch we assume their unchanging nature will remain as it was as the stealth of sleep descends upon us in the twilight of our awareness, of location, of aim and notwithstanding, ourselves. perhaps to the contrary, there is significance in the muffled sounds of noise and fury we approach as if in a waking dream.

in a previous post entitled "invictus," we explored the rarefied and disturbing view an extraterrestrial may come upon when exploring our own transparency within both ourselves and our creations which has most definitely, from a certain uncomfortable position has all the characteristics of a phantom world.

in this post, we shall place the shoe on the other foot.

part two of : bias and phantasms alien to our experience

one of the under reported and ignored aspects of the phenomenon known as alien abduction are the cases of a witness being present who was unaffected by either alien activities or, for that matter, the experience itself. the reason for this as demonstrated in several cases is the fact that the subject was seen in bed asleep during the experience or even more disconcerting, was found lying on the ground while an "abduction" was taking place in real time when the brain activity of these subjects are in a state unique to sleep. one wonders if this state of unconscious sensate awareness is a precondition that illustrates a form of downtime for information processing that also provides an opportunistic window. ninety percent of all abductions take place at night. another aspect of this is the element of missing time, which may not necessarily be due to the subject being absent, but rather having an episode of split consciousness in a unique physiological state. however some discernment is called for in terms of jumping to any premature conclusion as to the root cause of this phenomenon. one of the most fascinating aspects is the organic aspect of the cerebral cortex and the theoretical sequencing of synaptic activity in a quantum state, which suggests a non local source of consciousness as well as a gateway to be potentially tampered with in the intermediate state of potential and probability. in other words, this may be the locus of a highly sophisticated form, of an as yet unrecognised mechcanism to account for having been abducted while proverbially never leaving home. this would certainly be, if true, a highly efficent form of procedure to conduct covert experimentation as to sampling reactive behaviors. one hears faint echoes of robert monroe, remote viewing etc.in the next post i will explore quantum theory in the midst of these evidential accounts as a framework to theorise further. however, for the time being perhaps some perspective is due.

part three: quantum ufology

"what now is the answer to the question as to the bridge between the perception of the senses and the concepts, which is now reduced to the question as to the bridge between the outer perceptions and those inner image-like representations. it seems to me one has to postulate a cosmic order of nature— outside of our arbitrariness— to which the outer material objects are subjected as are the inner images... the organizing and regulating has to be posited beyond the differentiation of physical and psychical... i am all for it to call this 'organizing and regulating' 'archetypes.' it would then be inadmissible to define these as psychic contents. rather, the above-mentioned inner pictures (dominants of the collective unconscious, see jung) are the psychic manifestations of the archetypes, but which would have to produce and condition all nature laws belonging to the world of matter. the nature laws of matter would then be the physical manifestation of the archetypes."
