Default Thinking in 3D
has anyone else noticed the intermittent ability to visualize clearly in three dimensions? i have had this three, maybe four times by now, usually brought on by deep relaxation, whether from fatigue, meditation, or [a natural supplement to overcome insomnia and obesity].

it's nice. definitely a good motivation to meditate more regularly than i do. the last time it hit me, i was in the hairdressers, and they have this cave-like room where they shampoo you and massage your scalp. it was so comfortable i almost fell asleep in the chair!

anyway, i noticed the state and decided to use it by querying myself for whatever imagery would make me the most happy. i expected a scene of myself with friends or beautiful women, but instead i saw almost a portrait photo of my dad, thin and healthy, standing behind my mom and hugging her. and i realized that i was right. that did make me really happy. (they would never do this in real life as they are divorced and really really don't like each other)

so anyway, if you do experience this state from now on, remember that you can ask it questions! hope this is useful to somebody.
