so to get to the point i was wondering if anyone has come across a book that has a collection that is credible of his teachings and maybe life. i have tried to dig up a lot of his work even reading books on enoch the prophet and what not but i am trying to find something that has all his correct teachings even including the stuff that was mistranslated or taken out of the bible.

the question here is, anyone know of a collection of works by this man that were non biased and of authentic origin?

thank you for your presence, codee. :d
### hi, spiraling one

i don't think you can find what you are after ... i.e., guaranteed, honest-to-goodness true words, etc. of jesus. there is simply no universally agreed-on consensus. (i assume you are looking for more than the so-called red-lettered edition bibles having the sayings of jesus emphasized in red print)

the "jesus seminar" was/is a group of theologians gathered to the task of determining just what saying of jesus in the bible are indeed true-blue examples. i think they finally agreed on some eighteen of them as being for reals genuine. the many other sayings and attributables followed downhill on a sliding scale of assurancy.

then there are the gnostic documents such as the the "gospel according to thomas". ( it seems to me that cacye remarked on gat favorably ... but then i have a hard time recalling my own name when i address myself in the morning mirror.)

assuming that you are a christian you might circumvent your frustration by getting and pondering a collection of inspiring quotations from notable christians such as compiled by john blanchard in his book, "gathered gold".

for some interesting insights be sure to do a "jesus" search on llresearch.org.

my best, billybobbibliophile
