for the last three decades, i've been reading a 2,000 page "received" book, called the urantia book. a great number of celestial contributors collaborated for it, carefully utilizing the best thought of human authors (so as not to give us more than we could handle); yet also including striking revelatory material (most pointedly about jesus). the 2,000 pages are woven into an amazingly consistent and unfailingly elevating study. starting from a universe viewpoint, the text opens with discussion of the nature of deity + the structure of the universe, followed by earth history (geographic, religous, cultural, etc.), followed by part iv: the life and teachings of jesus. part iv is a year by year account of jesus' life from birth , which will either strike your inner truth resonator, or it won't. for me, however, the way jesus' life is depicted is spiritually consistent with david's perceptions, which is why i was drawn to divine cosmos.
