in calcutta (india), it is a sad but true fact that young children and new-born babies are sometimes abandoned and left to die in the streets, the sewers and the garbage dumps. even a newborn knows when it is unwanted, unloved and abandoned to die. can you imagine the pain and horror of those little souls, so utterly disposed of and lost?

a major feature of the ministry of mother teresa is the rescuing of these poor souls wherever possible, and to offer them some pure, unconditional love as therapeutic treatment. her great ministry does much to mend a rend in the fabric of the earth's energy body.

i feel a great deal of compassion for living things myself, and all my life i have felt physical discomfort when confronted with the pain of others. i actually get a very uncomfortable sensation in the backs of my thighs and also somewhat in my knees, and this effect is just as strong when the issue is recalled at a later time.

i cannot imagine how i would react if confronted first hand with the horrors of calcutta, as teresa and her sisters have; i think i might be physically unable to stand. this noble, true warrior of love, one of the bravest amongst us, bore first hand witness to some of the worst depravities imaginable. can you imagine the sorrow involved?
