having been in the process this last week of trying to remember my dreams i must say that i have made some progress!! first off i think i was trying to hard. i would wake up and not remember anything and immediately become disappointed. then after reading the transcript from coast to coast i focused on this sentence. "stay perfectly still in bed. let yourself wake up slowly.
most people nowadays are in the habit of just slamming themselves awake. all of the cool things that led to my being able to do readings came as a result of waking up slowly in the morning, observing my mind and just paying attention to it."so this morning when i woke up i tried to do just that, and lo and behold, it worked! i didn't remember pages and pages worth, but i did remember three distinct dreams. i recorded what i could and am confident i will have better success this next week.
i also came upon a great website which is related to the lucid dreaming book that david read. the question and answer page is really interesting and can be found here.
now the fun part will be figuring out what my dreams are actually trying to tell me!!
