i agree with you charles. i think that emily (the name i have given to his "pet" rat....seems only fitting that she receive a name don't you think?) is a sign of good fortune...wealth and health for him.
david got a wonderful gift in emily. she is a [furry] representation of the divine feminine coming to him (as she is a female rat). what guts she had to come right up to him while he was working on the computer and politely (albeit shockingly) asking for food and trying to steal his attention away from the computer!
but i think she did more than that. this little goddess, in my view, is reminding him to take care of himself and to get out in nature a little. she knows that in order for her to get some good seeds/food that he has to eat properly. isn't it humorous that she was single handedly able to give him a little drama to tear him away from his computer? what a powerful little creature she is! i mean there he is in the mountains and he doesn't seem to get out much (at least from what i can tell)...to ground himself even for a short time in nature (to neutralize the harmful effects of em radiation from the computer on his body and particularly the eyes) or to take lunch outside...and here is a creature that is close (to the ground/earth) paying him a very personal visit...reminding him that some time has to be taken for self to balance out what he is giving to others. this health issue is one of the issues that edgar cayce had. had he taken better care of his health he would have been around a while longer to give more readings. i've never forgotten this issue when i read it in the books on ec.
i wonder if emily will coax him outside a little (but not near any poison ivy patches of course)? i can see her scurrying across the tile floors now
