Oh yeah. The problem is that we often seem to need a pivotal event to really get things done. I'd much rather start early, when there's no real problems to hinder or distract you, and get done what will need to be done without any panic. We do need to get off the planet at some point and we've got the technology to do it right now, we should be doing it. But yes, the global financial state isn't conducive to such things right now and won't be for a while.
